Boardgame Design

In the October of 2011, we visited the SPIEL Mssen in Germany for the first time. This is one of the biggest boardgame convention in the world. Boardgames lovers, designers, and publishers from around the world gather in this 4-day convention to display their newest creations. Visitors can try out and purchase different games, and even get to take pictures with their favorite game designers. Tens of thousands of visitors visit this convention each year. My visit was indeed an eye-opening experience. It also gave me the idea to bring boardgames back to Hong Kong. In 2013, I partnered with a Taiwanese game designer "小光" to create my first boardgame publication called "Wooolf!". The following list is the games we have published since.

Incoherent (2018)

Incoherent is fun and exciting guessing game and can give players an unique experience. Each round, the story-teller would submerge in different setting and descript the "Key World". The other players would then have to guess what that "Key World" is.

Designing Boardgames for Orginazations and Government Departments

In recent years, more and more public orginazations, government departments, and social service orginazatoins are trying to promote their theme or activies thoguht boardgames. This way, promotional materials don't have to be just flyers or brochures. People can play the game in a relax setting and still be informed with the relating theme or information. A success in promotion comes from the affort and willingness of the host orginazation in delievering the information, and a well-designed boardgame can do exactly that. Therefore, Capstone Boardgame also provide boardgame design service to orginaztaions and government departments. Design a game with their theme and fun gameplay experience.
