卡坦島的另一個擴張版

把遊戲的主要流程從玩家中交易興建改為玩家合作對抗野蠻人和互相競爭搶奪。玩法接近但遊戲的體感完全不同。

以下為遊戲與基本版的不同之處:

山脈、森林和草原六角形板塊在遊戲中除了可以生產原本的資源以外，還能生產新的商品。城市改為生產相對應的商品，而非兩個資源。
商品是用來支付城市發展所需，一張牌支付等級一，兩張牌支付等級二，依此類推。等級三可以讓玩家獲得特殊能力，等級四和等級五則是讓玩家獲得勝利點數(VPs)。
遊戲板上除了強盜以外將會多個野蠻人棋子，另外有個紀錄野蠻人距離島嶼多遠的表。玩家每回合要擲紅色和白色的骰子，另外還要擲一顆特別的事件骰。

跟據骰子面的圖案可能會獲得發展卡。發展卡的效果比基本版多，甚至可以用於破壞對手基建，偷取對手資源等。而騎士則是為了對抗入侵的野蠻人和保護自己的基建免受其他玩家傷害所用。
